Ken Wyban, 55, served for 30 years in the U.S. Army, retiring in March 2001 as Sergeant Major. Ken has participated in many capacities as a volunteer and has been actively involved in several service initiatives through his work with the Army. Ken currently donates his time at the USO at Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC, coordinating its lounge and taking care of all members of the armed forces and their families who are passing through. In addition, Ken also volunteers annually at the Army Ten-Miler race, serving in numerous positions, including overseeing the Course Marshals and being in charge of the HOOAH Tent Zone, which allows soldiers from different units to set up their own tents and festivities to demonstrate their pride and team spirit.
