eGrants is the Corporation for National and Community Service’s web-based
system for:
- Submission and tracking grant applications and concept papers;
- On-line grant application peer review;
- Negotiating and awarding grants and cooperative agreements;
- Managing grants and cooperative agreements including processing
amendments, and continuations;
- Creating, submitting and editing your recruitment listings;
- Selecting applicants and searching for applicants;
- Approving project transportation (V-81) forms (VISTA only); and
- Financial Status and Progress Reporting.

On Saturday, March 13, we will be undertaking production system upgrades between the hours of 3.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. The scheduled hardware and software upgrades will improve the overall availability of the application environment in the future. In particular, we are installing a hardware load balancer which will automatically allocate workstation based user requests to an active front end application server. This upgrade will result in better handling of user activity/connectivity should one of the application servers fail at any time.
During this time period the My AmeriCorps Portal, eSPAN and eGrants software will be unavailable for your use. We regret any inconvenience this may cause, but know that you appreciate the need to keep our systems at the highest levels of operating capability.
